Celebrating Media Contributions To Eliminating Violence Against Women

2012 will mark the third year of the EVAs Media Awards (Eliminating Violence Against Women Media Awards). The awards honour journalists for excellence in the reporting of violence against women in print, television, radio and online media; and celebrate media contributions to the prevention of violence against women.

The entries are judged on journalistic merit; with emphasis on promotion of community awareness and understanding of violence against women, and inspiring community interest and action.

Entries for the 2012 EVAs is now open for media produced by journalists/media outlets for a Victorian-inclusive audience between
1st January 2011 & 31st December 2011.

There is no fee for entering the awards.

All entries must be submitted by Wednesday March 14, 2012.
